Sunday May 23rd, 2010 is Christians United for Israel Sunday, when CUFI (www.CUFI.org) asks churches around the world to designate a portion of their service that Sunday to praying for and honoring Israel. In association with this special day, the Shoals Friends of Israel (www.ShoalsFriendsOfIsrael.org) are hosting a Northwest AlabamaNight to Honor Israel at 6pm in the Florence/Lauderdale Coliseum.

The night will include local, national, and international participants: David Nekrutman (from Efrat, Israel), a columnist for the Jerusalem Post Christian edition and currently serving as Executive Director of The Center for Jewish-Christian Understanding & Cooperation (CJCUC) will speak. United Jewish Communities (UJC) representative Yoram Adar will be a flag bearer and special guest. Also Gary Bachman of Zion's Gate International will be present among others.

In a time when so much dishonor abounds, this is an incredible opportunity for the Jewish and Christian communities to join together for A NIGHT TO HONOR ISRAEL!
